We are located between the village of Villeneuve – La Salle les Alpes and the main town of Briancon (The highest fortified town in Europe) and a UNESCO candidate town, rich in art, history & fortifications. Our superb location allows you to ski either side of the valley with consummate ease.
SnowMonkees Ski Apartments are also located on the ‘slope side’ of the mountain, just off from the main piste and this benefits our guests in many ways.
We’re so close to the piste, you can actually ski/snowboard back to within 15 metres of the apartment building!
Just follow the green run ‘Briance’ which takes you back to the bottom of the mountain and into the centre of Chantemerle, hang a sharp right and you are home!
It is also a very short walk of less than 80 metres which takes you directly from our ski apartments to the 3 central ski lifts (high speed 4 man chair lift, Telepherique and Telecabine lifts) which form the hub of the village. Situated around these are all of the other amenities including ski school meeting area, tourist information, supermarkets, shops, restaurants and bars and the large commerce centre which houses various boutiques, bars, shops and cafes.
As you can from the google map below, our apartments are actually situated in the old village of Chantemerle (L’Envers) and benefit from their location by being far enough away from any bars/nightclubs not to be a noise nuisance but also within striking distance of some of the best bars and restaurants in the area, which upon request we are pleased to recommend.
Parking is catered for directly outside of the apartments and we also have a large double garage directly beneath our apartments which is configured for our guests to use at their leisure for storage of equipment and changing into and out of ski/snowboard boots.
All of our apartments offer free Wifi connection and have home comforts such as TV, DVD player and SKY Box offering Free Sat channels (bring your own SKY card and enjoy the same channels you receive at home!).
